Greensleeves Records releases Rhythm album compilation disc to Blue Steel rhythm

The Greensleeves Rhythm Album series continues to unleash the latest in Jamaican dancehall rhythms. The Blue Steel is #55 in the Greensleeves Rhythm Album series.

Blue Steel, with its mixture of steel pan and bass heavy drum beats, is riddled with Caribbean flavour and looks set to become a winner this summer.

The beat was produced by Frenchie, the talented producer at the helm of Maximum Sounds who has worked with some of
Jamaica's finest artistes and who produced rhythms such as Jedi, Ice, Chizzle and Jumbie.

The compilation features some of the most consistent names from the dancehall genre. Among them are Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Ward 21, Mr Lexx, Ce'Cile, Kip Rich, Junior Kelly, Lukie D, Red Rat and Mad Anju. Anthony B, Future Troubles, Taz and Wayne Marshall are also featured.

New music from Stone Love, Famous and Atlantic labels

Dynamic Sounds at Bell Road in Kingston has ushered in a slate of new releases. Featured on their latest distribution list are the frequently rotated Elephant Man single Burn Bad Mind (Stone Love label), Hear My Cry Oh Lord by Marvia Providence (Explorer label), World Abomination by Wailing Soul (Famous label), and Last Drop, the current UK chart hit from Kevin Lyttle and Spragga Benz (Atlantic label).

Bushman's latest album riding the charts

Bush Man's latest album Signs, which has been released via VP Records, is now available locally. The album which is registering strong spots on the South Florida and New York Reggae album charts, features 16 tracks.

Sanctuary, Downtown, Creatures of the Night, Light it Up, Liberian Woman, Lonely (featuring Nicky Burt), Lighthouse, Signs, Wicked Man, Talkative and Mother Earth are some of the tracks that are featured on Signs.

It's One for the Road for Digital B label

Producer Bobby Digital is back on active duty with his latest project the One for the Road rhythm. The beat features established as well as up-and-coming acts. The songs are on the Digital B imprint and are being distributed by Brick Wall Distribution at Keesing Avenue, Kingston 10.

Some of the singles released include Try by Bush Man and Morgan Heritage, Nuff a Dem by Chukki Star, All I've Got by Luciano, Be Prepared by Jamelody, Ton Load by Capleton, Reggae Music by AJ Brown, What We Like by Anthony Cruz, Goodbye My Love by Nicky Burt, World Order by Richie Spice, Blessing from Jah by Gentleman and Ras Shiloh, Make it Some Day by Anthony B and Turn Your Life Around by Turbulence.

2004 Degree rhythm coming from Call Me Shams

Scheduled for release over the next week is the B Rich label's latest project, the 2004 Degree rhythm. Distribution will be handled by Call Me Shams Distribution.

It is one of the most anticipated rhythms for this year. The rhythm was built by Richard 'Shams" Browne, while mixing and recording was done at B Rich Recording Studio.
The B Rich label has scored big over the years, so the producer is confident that this rhythm will be no different, as it is currently getting heavy rotation on local airwaves.

Among the songs featured on the rhythm are Burn It (Strength & Liberty) by Sizzla; Gal Code by Beenie Man; Say A Thing by Bounti Killa & Psycho; and
Can't Talk To Me by Macka Diamond & Lady G.
Other songs on the rhythm include Exit Sign - Desperado; Me She Love - Hawkeye; Mr DJ by M'Lonie; Let's Do It by Daville; Real Ghetto Slam by Sasha; Ghetto People by Red Rat; Own Man by Chico; Real by Chemical;
Shake by H.U.S.H.; and Shatta Boy by Bling Dawg.
