We certainly missed Trini fashion diva Claudia Pegus at Caribbean Fashionweek 2004. But not to worry, she'll be back next year with even more fabulous designs for the stylish male and female, and she's also passing through city Kingston this weekend. Threads and Trends caught up last Monday with Pegus, who is putting the final touches to a wedding gown for a Los Angeles celeb.
She is as busy as ever. Pegus fitted local supermodel Nadine Willis' birthday dress Sunday last and delivers it herself today. It will be unveiled at the Jamaica Pegasus later on this evening at an exclusive birthday bash for the fashion diva. Last year Willis' birthday bash took place at London's fashionable West End. In between Mustique and Barbados, Pegus made an additional stop in Grenada to put the finishing touches to the gown of the Governor-General's wife plus quite a few other gowns for socialites to wear to the Governor-General's ball that took place on July 31.
It's all in a day's work for Claudia Pegus whose adoring fan base now includes Nelson Mandela. What's new at Claudia Pegus Designs Limited?
