New York, USA - Top reggae acts Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, Beenie Man and Sizzla are confirmed performers for the third annual Irie Jamboree concert set to take place at Roy Wilkins Park, Queens, New York on Sunday, September 4, the promoters have said.

Young Marley, a son of reggae great Bob Marley, is now riding high with his current hit Welcome to Jamrock, which samples Ini Kamoze's 1984 track World A Reggae.

According to the concert promoters, Welcome to Jamrock is creating a lot of heat in the United States, enjoying multiple spins on urban radio stations and cable channels like BET.

Sizzla has been a mainstay on the charts since he busted on the scene with his Black Woman & Child album. His performance at Irie Jamboree 2K5 will be his first major outdoor performance in the tri-state area and, according to the promoters, fans are ecstatic.

Beenie Man has been making positive strides on music charts with hit singles A Nuh Me and KingOf The Dancehall and a brilliant performance is expected from him at Irie Jamboree 2K5.

The show's line-up also includes Richie Spice, Barrington Levy and Sanchez.

According to the promoters, last year's Irie Jamboree festival attracted over 10,000 patrons and featured Shabba Ranks, Luciano, Freddy McGregor, and Half-Pint.
