NORRIS MAN. recording third album

Reggae chanter Norris Man is enjoying a resurgence of popularity with the release of his new ballad Home And Away.

The single, which has been enjoying increased airplay and rotation in nightclubs, speaks to a woman who spurns her man for another lover. But after being used and dumped by the man, she tries to return to her spurned lover's arms but is rejected.

Home And Away appears on the Vertex Label and is the first single from an album now being recorded by Norris Man. The album will be his third and is expected to be released later this year.

Norris Man first rose to prominence with the hit single Persistence, which led to an album of the same name for Kings of Kings records in 1998. Since then, he has maintained his presence on the competitive popular music scene and has completed three United States tours.

Earlier this year, the reggae chanter journeyed to France to perform at five venues in Paris. He also enjoys a steady following in the Caribbean and has performed on many of the major festivals there.

Norris Man's last local performance was at the Unite The People concert at Cinema 2 in May, but tomorrow night he will be performing at the Appleton Temptation Island's Stages at Wavz in Negril, Westmoreland. Stages will also see live performances by American rapper Jadakiss, Jamaican acts Turbulence, Elephant Man, Buju Banton, Busy Signal, Rootz Underground and other entertainers.
