Greensleeves Records' Biggest Reggae One Drop Anthems a must-have collection

Greensleeves Records will on October 25 release what is considered to be the authoritative one-drop compilation of 2005. The compilation is the annual Biggest Reggae One Drop Anthems double CD package. The 40-track set includes reggae one-drop of hits over the past year, most of which fared well on the local and overseas reggae charts.
Twelve of the songs included on the set are former number one hits. Most of the others have either enjoyed steady rotation on radio or have figured on the local and overseas reggae charts. Tracks include These Are The Times, Poor Man's Cry, Love Is, The Sound, Jamaica and Longing For by Jah Cure, Handcart Boy by Perfect, Serious Times and Mama by Gyptian, Place Too Bloody by Buju Banton and Anthony Cruz, No Guns Inna Dance by Anthony Cruz, In The Ghetto by Little Hero, All I Got by Perfect, Hail The King and Hungry by Fantan Mojah, Blood Again (The Way You're Living) and Operation Kingfish by Richie Spice, My Grade by Da'Ville, Murderer by Chuck Fenda, My Princess Gone and Mi Chalawa by Jah Mason, Home And Away by Norris Man, Be Strong, Rise To The Occasion and Where Are You Running To by Sizzla, Blessings Of Jah by Gentleman and Ras Shiloh, Freedom by Richie Spice and Chuck Fenda, Thanks And Praise by Fantan Mojah, Rasta Still Deh Bout by Josie Mel and Lutan Fyah, Superior by Gentleman, My Meditation by Bush Man, World Of Reggae Music by Anthony B, High Grade Forever by Tony Curtis and Jah Works by Sizzla.

Messer Banzani rhythm new from Germaican label

The German-based reggae label Germaican Records is back with the Messer Banzani rhythm, the follow-up to its hugely successful Doctor's Darling project which spawned the hits It Nuh Matter by General Degree and It's A Pity by Tanya Stephens.

Messer Banzani features the singles It's Appropriate by Sizzla, If You Man Naw Sow Nuh Seed by Vybz Kartel, Gangster Role by Mad Cobra, Step To The Fire by Capleton, If I Love You & You Love Me by Admiral Tibet, Can You Feel It by Fourth Street Sisters, and Margaret by Gregory Isaacs.

Distribution of the aforementioned tracks is being handled by All Access Entertainment in Central Plaza, Kingston.

Inner Circle releases the One Day rhythm

Also available from All Access is the One Day rhythm on the Sound Bwoy/Inner Circle label. Featured are the songs One Day by Inner Circle, Praise Jahova by Land Lord, No Matter How by Fantan Mojah, Cold -looded Murderer by Ninja Ford, No Order A Yard by Chuck Fenda, It's So Good by Skatta, Straight Up by Junior Jazz, Love Is by Kirk Davis, Ruff Times by Kananga, Jah Jah by Alkatraz and Lose Your Soul by Shada.

Capleton

Skatta does the Irish Dance over at In the Streetz

Producer Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell's latest project is the Irish Dance rhythm. The award-winning producer, who released the inescapable Coolie Dance rhythm more than two years ago, has employed the likes of newcomer Aidonia, Beenie Man, Hollow Point, Einstein, Elephant Man, Problem Child, Ce'Cile and Delly Ranx, Martina, Vybz Kartel, Platinum Kid, Mr Lex, Degree, Red Rat and Nesbeth for this ambitious effort.

Hot shots so far include Lolly by Aidonia and Sugar Pan and Walk Out by Beenie Man. Distribution of the songs on the Irish Dance is being handled by In the Streetz Distribution.

Da Anthem heard loud and clear

Producer Lloyd James Jr (John John) is back with the Da Anthem rhythm. James, the son of legendary dancehall producer Lloyd 'King Jammy' James, is best known for a string of productions over the years which include the G-String rhythm.

Da Anthem features Daily by Sizzla, Body Mechanic by Buju Banton, Nuh Run Round By Beenie Man, All Right by Elephant Man and Lady Saw, Caribbean Queen by Wayne Wonder and Assassin, Girls Play by Capleton, Have It Fi Yuh by Bling Dawg, Bun Petty Thief by TOK, Straight by Lady Saw, Tek A Hike by Voice Mail and Show It Off by Angel Doolas and Baby G.

In the Streetz is handling distribution.
