Porter's comment was followed by a visual presentation from Smirnoff Ice and Vodka brand manage, Safia Cooper.
"Smirnoff Experience continues to impact the local music scene and once again it promises to be a bold and audacious event," the brand manager said in her presentation.

The ever-expanding party series are held in over 20 countries around the world such as Turkey, France, Germany, Africa and of course, Jamaica.
"We have learnt a lot from the previous five Smirnoff Experience parties, however number six is going to be like magic," added Solomon Sharpe, CEO, Main Events Limited, the company involved with the event's production.

He said he has positive expectations for the upcoming event.
"We are expecting a huge turn-out full of fun-loving party people, Smirnoff has always delivered and we won't disappoint. just come, it is going to be an experience," Sharpe added.

International recording stars, Sean Paul and TOK made appearances; however, Tami Chynn was a no-show since she was off the island for a show in Cayman.

With the leading lady absent, the Smirnoff boys nonetheless put their best foot forward informing the media that the 'experience' will be one they won't soon forget.

Sean Paul, who took time out from promoting his newly released album, The Trinity expressed his excitement about performing next month.

"I've been given two days to visit Jamaica. I can't wait to perform on the 23rd, it's been a long time since I performed in Jamaica," the entertainer said.

The four-member TOK expressed similar sentiments and added that patrons will be seeing a lot more of them on local stages.
"No matter where we go, home is where the heart is," said group member, Xavier 'Flex' Davidson.

The group also performed their hit single, Money To Burn, from their debut album, My Crew, My Dawgs. Both TOK and Sean Paul received Smirnoff gift baskets from brand manager, Safia Cooper, at the end of their addresses.

The reception ended with a big screen viewing of music videos - Sean Paul's, Ever Blazin'and TOK's Tears, the reggae stars' most recent releases.
