Negril Free Film Fest this weekend

Negril's first Free Film Festival begins this Friday with the screening of former US vice-president Al Gore's documentary on global warming, An Inconvenient Truth. The film previously premiered at the Carib Cineplex in Kingston as a benefit for the Jamaica Environment Trust, but this will be the first screening outside of that occasion.

Films will be shown at 9:00 pm every Friday for the next eight weeks at On The Rocks, located on West End Road in Negril. Food and drinks will be available. Free parking and a free shuttle service will be provided.

The remaining films are scheduled as follows: (all shows start at 9:00 pm)
Friday, February 23 - Life And Debt
Friday, March 2 - Loose Change 2 - Jamaican Premiere
Friday, March 9 - The Green Tunnel & Rent A Rasta
March 16 - The Corporation
March 23 - Fahrenheit 9-11
March 30 - Iraq For Sale
April 6 - The Future of Food
