Royal Palm Estate returns to CVM in April

Thursday, March 27, 2008

Lennie Little-White (left), producer and director of Royal Palm Estate signs the new distribution agreement for the show with Ronnie Sutherland, vice-president of marketing and sales of CVM-TV.

It's been a long time coming but Royal Palm Estate finally returns to television when brand new episodes in Season 26 are unveiled on Sunday, April 27.

A new broadcast agreement was inked this week between Ronnie Sutherland, vice-president of marketing and sales of CVM-TV and Lennie Little-White, producer and director of Royal Palm Estate.

No doubt, absence has made the heart grow fonder for the many viewers who have been clamouring for the return of Royal Palm Estate and who now eagerly await the airing of the first episode of the new season. A new format and a slate of popular faces drawn from the entertainment industry will bring a new level of excitement to the show.

Without giving too much away, there will be a new line-up of guest stars which will include two "Angels", Macka Diamond, Ce'Cile, Da'Ville, Vybz Kartel, Peter Lloyd, Danny Champagne and Dr Kingsley 'Ragashanti' Stewart. Also in the mix is Senior Superintendent Reneto Adams who shelves his official garb and duties to try his hand at acting.

Not to be outdone by the new faces, all of the popular stars of Royal Palm Estate will be returning to the show this year in Seasons 26 and 27. They will be joined by some of the new guest stars on Sunday nights on CVM-TV with a repeat within the same week. Royal Palm Estate is produced by Mediamix and had its first broadcast in March 1994.
