The Pro Form Perspective ES Treadmill

It's a wrap for the Olympics, and ultimately sitting before a flat screen for the last two weeks has probably inspired us to think athletic. think, "How can I get a body like that?"

Thursday Tech discovered the Pro Form Perspective ES treadmill - from Pro-Form Fitness who claims that it is the "most advanced treadmill on the market." According to Kurt Dunn, health instructor at Gymnkhana at the Hilton Kingston Hotel, the Pro Form would be a good addition to the market since health enthusiasts would enjoy the machine.

"Treadmills are a popular choice of gym members and a new machine that offers advanced technology would be welcomed to the local market."

Efficient

The treadmill offers "Pro StrideT Impact-Reducing Cushioning" to give users the ability to comfortably exercise without worrying about stress on the joints, making the workout more efficient since users would take longer strides.
Dunn emphasised that this was a problem facing some gym members. "A machine that would take stress off the joints would be excellent! "The Pro Form also increases workout accuracy with its "Dual-Grip EKGT Heart Rate Monitor" that monitors the heart rate every time you touch the handlebars that are equipped with built in sensors. The built-in console fan allows for extended workout hours. The machine is user-friendly as it comes with 28 personal workouts to get you in shape quickly and has includes a challenging 0 per cent -12 per cent incline.

Compact

Apartment dwellers in the Corporate Area and environs would benefit from the "Easy Drop Shock with Self-Locking Latch" and "Space Saver® "technology that makes folding and unfolding the treadmill easy. Rhonda Thomas, from Kingston, said that she would use the machine because it would be easy to use in her studio apartment, "I am intimidated by the gym so I would love to buy a piece of equipment that I can use in my studio apartment."

Entertaining

For those who want to be entertained while exercising, the Pro Form comes with a built-in seven-inch flat screen that doubles as a television or on screen display showing workout intensity. The television works with any DVD player and is also cable ready. Other features include theatre quality sound technology through the machine's "Intermix AcousticsT", that are imbedded in the console panel, and "InterplayT Music Port" that holds most MP3 players.
