Promotion for the International Caribbean Music Festival, called ICM Fest, one of the largest family-oriented concerts to be held in Miami, Florida is on target, the organisers say. The pre-Thanksgiving family fun day, which takes place on Sunday, November 16 at the Historic Virginia Key Beach, Key Biscayne Miami will see a slew of reggae acts including Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Sean Kingston, Mavado, Queen Ifrica, Christopher Martin, Munga Honourebel, Papa San and Spragga Benz.
"Remember that the line-up was put out to the public and these are some of the artistes who were given the green light," a spokesperson for promotion company Anchor Minot said, adding that with the Big 3 on the same stage in Miami for the first time - Bounty, Beenie and Mavado - it will be "pure love and happiness".
In keeping with what they call their "cutting edge use of technology", as part of this year's promotion, there will be a special online pre-sale of a limited number of tickets for the event The special will begin this Thursday, October 9.
"This promotion will only be available for a few days, so I would encourage the early birds to log on and don't allow it to miss them," the promotions manager said.
ICM Fest had its first staging in 1997, albeit under a different name, and over the years has successfully continued to draw out the massive with top class acts and first class production.
