A fab night of shopping and dinner done, Mandeville girl and Victoria Mutual Insurance underwriter Mesalina Stephenson closed her birthday celebrations, Thursday last, with cocktails and interesting conversation at Susie's On The Terrace.

Well, I'm having a classic mojito.they do a very good one here.
What do you love most about chilling at Susie's?
It's a very homey place, and you feel like you're among friends.
Socialite or homebody?
Homebody, definitely.
Which celebrity's style do you most admire?
Eva Longoria; she exudes a kind of sultry elegance.
What's your style?
Simple but hip.

What are your current fashion faves?
Dresses. love them, especially maxi dresses, which are so comfortable and easy to dress up or down.
What are your thoughts on Fashion's Night Out?
I thought it was a pretty novel initiative; Jamaica has never seen anything like that. And it saves you a lot of time and money in terms of doing Christmas shopping in advance.
What is your ultimate style spot?
I love Kabella's in Premier Plaza.
Flats or stilettos?
Flats. They're super comfortable and versatile; they go with almost everything.
What's in your clutch?
My cellphone, car keys and lipgloss. those are my essentials.
Who does your hair?
J-Max in Princeville on Constant Spring Road.
Who does your nails?
I do.
It's your birthday, so what's your wish?
To be honest, I already have everything I need. friends and family who love me.
What's your idea of the perfect date?
Going somewhere quiet and without distractions where you can really get to know someone.
What's your idea of the perfect man?
Not yet made (laughs)! I'd say, though, that the closest thing to it would be a man who is genuine; one who means what he says.
What's on your iPod?
A whole mix of stuff from soca to soul to R&B to alternative.
What are your beauty secrets?
Getting lots of sleep, drinking water and laughing; it keeps
you sane.
Besides coming to Susie's, how do you unwind?
I chill with my girlfriends, and read.
What are you reading right now?
The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory.
What's the best piece of advice you've been given?
Live your life, so that you have no regrets at the end of it.

I just want to be successful and happy in whatever form that may come.
