The Caribbean Fashionweek catwalk roster had arguably something for everyone, last weekend, as its Pulse Investments organisers, sticking with tradition for the most part, juggled three separate nights of fashion gazing at Villa Ronai, Stony Hill. Exhibiting designers pushed out look after look, eager to break the theatrical fourth wall between themselves and fashionistas in attendance at the 17th staging of the event. Commercial breakthroughs still elusive for many hard at work behind-the scenes, resort fashion nevertheless continues to hold on to this regional event with quiet assurance. Keyed in to the sartorial developments of the season and rotating between the photographers' pit and front row, SO highlights the shapes, palettes and cuts that are meant to define the approaching season.
