Once announced, Obama tweeted a photograph of himself hugging his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, captioned 'Four More Years' which quickly became the most 'retweeted' tweet of all time. According to Mediabistro, the previous record holder was Justin Bieber in September.

Victoria's Secret's $2.5-million fantasy

Alessandra Ambrosio wore the 2012 Fantasy Bra worth $2.5 million. The undergarment was created by London Jewellers and encrusted with more than 5,000 sapphires, rubies, diamonds and other stones, it features a 20-carat diamond as a centrepiece.

Tyra Does The Rock

On recent episodes of Tyra Banks' hit show, America's Next Top Model, the model mogul has welcomed Cedella Marley, Yendi Phillipps and Konshens as guests; featured local designers; and shot on location at Martha Brae River and Dunn's River Falls. Our take is that the show has made for great PR for the upcoming tourist winter season.

Diane Sawyer

During the coverage of the US Elections the usually impeccable Diane Sawyer was noticeably having an off night to say the least. Her speech was slurred, she seemed distracted, and even stumbled over the President Barack Obama's name. According to a source in the New York Daily News, the veteran anchor was not inebriated but was simply tired after days of election prep with little sleep.

We're always supportive whenever new local programming hits the airwaves, but we're a bit taken aback by the glut of talk shows that are making it onto TV screens. Has the well of ideas for shows run dry?
