The Chosen when J-Lo, 42, decided to slap the father of her children.

However, it was just a friendly tickle, with a sound effect added for good measure, which the former couple explained as they appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show, set to air February 13, to promote their new talent show.

Ellen told the pair: "The dynamics between you two is just fantastic to watch." Jennifer, who is now dating 24-year-old dancer Casper Smart, replied: "We laugh a lot." A clip from their upcoming show is displayed and the pair are seen sitting on the floor watching a troop of flamenco dancers before Jennifer is seen playfully slapping her estranged husband.

Rising British star Eddie Redmayne may be the latest man to make it into a Taylor Swift song lyric. According to reports in Us Weekly, the 30-year-old actor broke up with the singer last month after Swift lost out to West End star Samantha Barks for the role of Eponine in the film adaptation of Les Miserables. The My Week With Marilyn star is said to have "embarked on a relationship" with Swift, 22, after meeting her in October while she was auditioning for the role. "They hung out in New York City with the movie's execs, and Taylor developed feelings for him fast," a source tells the US publication. "Eddie's not interested in a long-distance relationship," the source said. "The elements were against them. It's a shame." Swift has previously been linked to actors Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal, along with musicians John Mayer and Joe Jonas.

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin's look sparks concern

He was once the mischievous, cherubic star of the hugely successful Home Alone movies. However, Macaulay Culkin, now 31, appeared dishevelled and emaciated as he greeted fans in New York on Wednesday. With his straggly goatee beard and messy hair, he looked gaunt as he sipped an energy drink. His appearance was a far cry from the cute youngster who shot to international fame playing cheeky Kevin McCallister in the 1990 family favourite.

Culkin was once Hollywood's biggest child star, commanding £4 million a film by the time he starred in 1994's Richie Rich.

The actor married actress Rachel Miner in 1998 but they divorced in 2002. He went on to date Black Swan star Mila Kunis for eight years before the pair separated in 2010.
