Friends, what will it take for us to achieve peace in the western parish? Di last thing mi was expecting to hear 'bout during a state of public emergency was a brazen gun (2, 27) attack at a funeral (25) dat caused both injury and death (4, 3). Where were the police and soldiers (13, 19) when all a dat was happening?

Only God (26) alone can tell mi dat somebody high up not profiting (25 again) from the crime. Gun nuh mek a Jamaica and ammunition nuh cheap. But dem haffi answer to the the Big Man on dat fateful day.

Things so scary dat mi having a hard time sleeping at nights, and when mi do fall asleep a bare foolishness mi a dream. Like how mi dream see mi and a likkle boy (11) a walk through water (24, 30), over some hills (29), through some valley (8), a sell callaloo (20, 16). Just like dat mi tun higgler. But, then again, maybe it's because a long time mi nuh eat some greens.

So more and more the politician (34) dem want wi fi believe dat being MP is a family business. What a piece a briteness wid who fi get the soon-to-be-vacant seat! More time.
