Friends, we asked for it, so give thanks for the rain (24). Our sympathy goes out to those affected by flooding (30), but we could not take the drought, heat and dust anymore.

We hope the people of little (10) Dominica and the Carolinas in America will stay safe. Hope there will be no casualties (3).

We a beg motorists and pedestrians using Hagley Park and Constant Spring roads to take extra caution as, with the dirt washing down and the inability to see the holes dug for the roadwork, there is a serious danger, especially for the children (11, 16) and our oldsters (36, 13).

Jamaicans are such smart people! The bikers mek sure dem mek a quick money (25) with their two-wheel taxi because of jams in the city. Hope they will provide helmets for passengers.

Big up to the Jamaica Observer for that wonderful photo of a man (23) carrying a disabled man on his back on page four of yesterday's publication. Great photo!

Anyway, as we prepare for a wet weekend, you all walk good until.

Now you can read the Jamaica Observer ePaper anytime, anywhere. The Jamaica Observer ePaper is available to you at home or at work, and is the same edition as the printed copy available at
