The right fit
Monday, February 06, 2012
Donalda Reid, proprietor of La Belle Femme in Montego Bay, fits a Panache bra on a client at the Bra Fit Clinic held last Saturday at the Knutsford Court Hotel in St Andrew.
Reid, who is specially trained to measure and fit bras in women, including breast cancer survivors, says more than 80 per cent of women wear incorrectly fitting bras, resulting in poor breast health. Women were therefore specially measured by her before making their purchases or orders.
Approximately 100 women turned out to the clinic, with 60 to 70 getting measured, 70 being registered and the remainder were unable to be registered as a result of time. Many choose comfortably fitted bras from brands like Panache, Natori, Felina and Alegro. Also on sale were lingerie and bra accessories.
"The need is great and we will be back next month," Reid told All Woman afterwards.
