In the case of local letters, for the first 230 grams of mail in unsealed envelopes, the new rate is $20, down from the regular postage of $30.

Airmail to the Caribbean, United States, Canada, Central and South America is now $50 for each 15 grams, down from $60.
Airmail to Asia, Africa and the Far East will be $80 for each 15 grams, down from $90.

The rates have been in effect since November 1 until December 24.
