Computer society rebrands annual conference as BizTech

Sunday, July 10, 2005

The Jamaica Computer Society has launched BizTech Forum 2005 - its re-branded technology conference - which focuses on aiding businesses to meet their corporate objectives through the use of technologies.

This year's forum will be held over three days - October 28-30 - under the theme 'Service Delivery Technologies: The Future is Now!', and will demonstrate how businesses can gain a competitive edge through the delivery of superior service with the aid of appropriate technologies.

Focus will be placed on business intelligence and the use of mobile and wireless technologies to enhance service delivery.

Presentations will also focus on issues such as the building of reliable customer service portal, technologies for securing on-line payment processing, network and security management, wireless (Wi-Fi) security, building and managing Wi-Fi 'hot spots' and disaster recovery.
