NEW Cable and Wireless Jamaica customers can now get online faster and easier with 'Cable & Wireless Online', a new do-it-yourself compact disc that allows users to set up their home or office computers for Internet use.

Provided free, C&WJ's new self-installation CD makes it simple for users to do their own set-up of the high-speed Internet service.

To setup the service on their machines, users simply insert the CD in their PCs or laptops, then follow the interactive instructions provided.

The programme automatically configures the user's machine for high speed access, said a release from the telecoms company.

"By providing these self-help tools, we are ensuring our customers get online quickly and enjoy their online experience with as few hitches as possible," said vice president for broadband, Magnus Johansson, quoted in the company's release.
