Gregory Isaacs off on South American tour

Wednesday, November 04, 2009

Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs leaves the island tomorrow for South America to start a two-week tour of that region.

The tour is in support of his new CD Brand New Me, distributed locally by Tads Records.

The Cool Ruler, as he's popularly known, will perform in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima, Peru and five cities in Brazil. Gregory Isaacs, who earlier this year had two tours cancelled due to illness, will be joined later in the tour by Mr 1000 Volts, John Holt, who'll do two performances, November 13 and 14.

The tour is organised by veteran tour promoter and organiser Copeland Forbes of Comar Productions who'll accompany the entertainers and will be assisted by road managers Teddy Laidley, Ruddy Isaacs and Teddy Davis.
