Delicious new beverages from Grace

Thursday, April 02, 2009

Grace Foods introduces a delicious new beverage - Grace Blends, which comes in four exciting sorrel-based combinations: Sorrel Cranberry; Sorrel Ginseng; Sorrel Fusion and Sorrel Pomegranate.

The nutraceutical blends represent the company's foray into the 'functional' range of the beverage category, providing a juice drink that tastes good and is nutritious.

The main ingredient in the new beverage, sorrel, has significant health benefits and is now being recognised as a powerful antioxidant. It significantly decreases cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood and contributes to protecting against heart disease. Sorrel has also been recognised for its diuretic properties.

The other key ingredients are beneficial too. Pomegranate juice is best known for its heart health benefits while cranberries have long been valued for their ability to help prevent and treat Urinary Tract Infections, and lower LDL and raise HDL (good) cholesterol. Ginseng's value is mainly preventative and regular use may counteract the effects of physical and emotional stress, enhance memory, counteract fatigue and improves stamina.

These tasty concoctions are available at supermarkets islandwide and will retail between $120 -$130.
