Red Bull Formula 1 run thrills New Kgn

The Red Bull Formula 1 (F1) Urban Run was nothing short of spectacular. Staged on Trafalgar Road, New Kingston, scores of patrons came out to witness the skills of 19-year-old Swiss driver, Sébastian Buemie, Red Bull's test and reserve driver for the 2008 F1 season.


With a day filled with exciting activities commencing at 8:00 am, persons were treated to pre-race shows of new, classic, drag and rally cars. Also scheduled was a celebrity drive-by with Minister of Transport Mike Henry, Mayor Desmond McKenzie, Buju Banton, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports, Olivia Grange, Miss Jamaica Universe 2008 April Jackson and other dignitaries.

There was something special for persons of all age groups, as anything with a motor was showcased on Sunday.
