'SHOE' us the way downtown
Monday, October 15, 2012
For the woman in the market for a different kind of of shoes — and we know there are a lot of you — downtown Kingston is the hottest address to get the trendiest pair.
Located on the corners of Beckford and West streets, the South East Open Market is home to a trifecta of hip shoe boutiques — Butty’s Fashion Feet, Poson Shoes World and Damion Fashion.
Lining the shelves are spiked and embellished wedges, colour-block heels, laced-up suedes, leatherette platforms, and heel-less platforms. Prices range from $4,000 up to $6,000. True shoe-aholics will be happy to know that some downtown boutiques are open on Sundays and public holidays, making your shopping schedule that much easier.
