8 tips for getting your ex-girlfriend back by Christmas

Monday, December 07, 2009

Last year around this time, it seemed nothing could have gone wrong with your relationship. But then, something did and both of you had to call it quits. And although you have been separated for quite sometime now, you are determined not to spend this Christmas without her. Well, not to worry, you won't necessarily have to, you still have 17 days to win her back. Here are some tips you can use to win your ex's heart just in time for Christmas day.

1. Analyze why she left you-Were you too clingy, were you overbearing, were you abusive? These are the questions you need to ask yourself as you prepare your self to celebrate Christmas with your girlfriend. Don't only ask yourself, but make a concerted effort to change.

2. Remind her of the qualities she likes about you- Remember how she used to tell you that she likes how you were supportive of her dreams and the fact that you were ambitious. Well try to remind her of these qualities whenever you cross path. You can start by telling her what are your plans for the New Year.

3. Do some grooming- Don't let her get the impression that you are dying without her. Try to always look your best, especially on those occasions when you know you are bound to see her, such as when attending a Christmas party put on by a mutual friend.

4. Talk to her reasonably- The yuletide season usually provides a heart warming environment, that makes people more willing to converse and forgive. Get you ex to talk to you and share her views on the relationship you had. Let her know you are willing to change and that you hope that you can get back together.

5. Enlist the help of a friend- If you feel none of your efforts to get her attention are successful, you can ask a mutual friend to help. This friend could assist by getting her to venue, where both of you could meet and talk.

6. Make the impossible happen- After being with her for sometime, you more than most persons should know what she would like. Get her tickets to a movie she would probably like to go to with her friends (with no strings attached) or a set of tyres for her car. Just play it cool and make it seem like it is something you would have done for a good friend.

7. Ask for help- Need help decorating your Christmas tree? Then give her a call and remind her that she was the one who had to assist you the year before. If she still has any feelings for you, then she might just come over to help so make sure you actually have a tree to decorate.

8. Offer your help- What is it that you think your ex might need help with this Christmas? Is it painting her house, hanging up the lights or a vehicle to move her from point A to B as she attend Christmas parties and do her shopping. Well let her know, you are willing to offer your help with no string attached. Just don't seem too desperate to help or she might become suspicious.
