Golden Jubilee Awardees

Monday, July 30, 2012

Dr Dwight Walcott (left) presents an award to retiree Sister Brenda Scarlett Miller, formerly of the University Hospital of the West Indies, in tribute to her decades of service in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. She was one of the Golden Jubilee Awardees of the Grabham Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists on Saturday, July 14 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. Also celebrating the occasion are Dr Milton Hardie (right), president of the Grabham Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, and Professor Horace Fletcher, one of the Golden Jubilee Awardees. Professor Fletcher developed a method to use the pharmaceutical misoprostol as an effective and less invasive way to induce labour.
