Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller hands noted family therapist Dr Barry Davidson a certificate of recognition for his contribution to the elimination of gender-based violence in Jamaica on November 23. The occasion was a ceremony — hosted by the Bureau of Women's Affairs — to celebrate 50 women, men and organisations that have worked to eliminate gender-based violence on the island over the last 50 years of Independence.
