INTUIT Concepts, the team behind last February's Wyndham Wedding Spectacular, will up the ante with Kingston Bridal Week (KBW). The group has collaborated with Petals & Promises to create the complete package for the planning and execution of your nuptials. Slated for the week of September 8-16, at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel, the lifestyle event promises the best in fashion, cuisine, entertainment, travel guides, and gadgets — all the things that shape our social space — and will make your special day one to remember.
The week will be segmented to target different aspects of a couple's interests ahead of their big day. The week kicks off on September 8 and 9 with the KBW bachelor and bachelorette parties, which are slated to take place outside the Wyndham Kingston.
The focus will then momentarily shift to the brides on September 11 and 12 with the celebration of Bridal Day Out. This will feature participating bridal stores and vendors, who will be offering discounted service packages and product prices during those days.
On September 13, Tami Chynn will host the Angels of Love Charity dinner at Ristorante Baci at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel, under the theme "Saving lives for one more bride and one more groom".
The final days will explode with everything fashion and retail. The bridal fashion shows will feature pieces from Petals & Promises, Bliss Bridal, and Nasolo. What's more, there will be honeymoon shows, featuring designs from Rebecca Ansah from London, Kesisha Eastwick from Barbados, Cedella Marley, Carlton Brown, Ashley Martin, ASD clothing, Ites International, Material Girl, Lubica, Jae Jolly and Spokes Apparel.
Alongside the fashion shows will be three days of exhibitor/ consumer shows, creating a commercial experience for guests and exhibitors. Think over 40 exhibitor booths, a bridal closet with over 200 dresses, and wireless point-of-sale terminals and ATM machines for conducting transactions. There is, too, the two-day wine and catering shows presented by Kingston Kitchen. Over 15 caterers and wine booths, with sampling and purchase opportunities will be on show for the final two days of the event, with dining décor provided by Tai Flora Luxe. In-between sips and bites, ATL Automotive will be providing luxury test-drives for their high-end brands Jaguar, Audi, Range Rover, VW, and Honda.
There are great prizes to be won, too. Two lucky patrons will have the chance to each win a My Big Fabulous Wedding prize. These include: a weekend for two, bridal transfer, spa services, wedding photo shoot, cake, dress and tux rental, bouquet, invitations and programmes, wedding planning, and make-up services. While one lucky bride will walk away with the Observer Petals & Promises Dream Dress prize.
