Trend Report: From London to Milan
Monday, October 08, 2012
The Spring/Summer 2013 fashion weeks concluded in the City of Lights on October 3 -- it's been a fashionably fab and exhausting journey from New York, to London, to Milan. AW concludes our fashion week trend report with Paris Fashion Week (PFW), bringing you the trends that will rule in coming seasons. (Photos: style.com)
Prints
It's the style that has dominated all four fashion weeks and spring has never been so 'printastic', with everything including swimsuits given added oomph.
Whites
Breezy, innocent and ultra-chic, it was a white affair in the City of Lights, as designers got creative with the pure palette.
High Shine
Spring is the perfect time to shine, according to Paris. Prints, leather, stripes and even sheer were all given a makeover with glitter, sequins, and crystals, as designers dazzled with their creations.
Sharp Lines
Sharp, distinct folds complemented by asymmetric angles and cuts were evident at PFW.
Swimsuits
With the sunny weather the norm for spring and summer, designers were daydreaming of sand and sea with a range of deluxe swimsuits.
Lace
It's feminine, sensual and romantic, making it one of the mesmerising trends at PFW.
