A group of Jamaican Government employees, in the presence of Ambassador of Argentina to Jamaica Ariel Fernandez (stooping) and two Spanish language trainers -- Cecilia Shimabukuro, on his left, and Nora Pietragalla -- celebrate their completion of the first two weeks of a six-month Spanish training course at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs head office late last month. The course, which has both the classroom and virtual teaching modules, is part of the programme of Jamaica/Argentina cooperation. It has some 30 participants with a basic level of Spanish, from diverse areas of government, including the foreign ministry, the Jamaica Defence Force, and the Office of the Prime Minister.
