In this photo which accompanied last week’s publication of a piece announcing the introduction of a Master’s degree in sustainable energy and climate change by the University of Technology, Jamaica, we incorrectly identified Professor Thomas Bruckner (left) as Michael Dumke, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy in Jamaica.

The corrected caption reads: Dr Ruth Potopsingh, described as the mother of the just-launched Master of Science in Sustainable Energy and Climate Change at the University of Technology, Jamaica, watches as University President Professor Stephen Vasciannie (right) greets Professor Thomas Bruckner, lead author, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and head of division, Sustainable Management and Infrastructure Economics at Fraunhofer Centre for Internal Management and Knowledge Economy in Germany at Thursday’s (March 2) launch of the programme on the Papine campus.
