Rum Cream and Coffee Egg Nog with Whipped Cream

Makes: 6-7 cups

4 Chippenham egg yolks

1 /3 cup sugar

1 pint whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

1 cup rum cream

2 tablespoons instant coffee

1 /2 cup white rum


In a bowl, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in colour. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until it’s completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, rum cream, white rum, coffee and nutmeg and stir to combine. Chill and serve in a cold glass and garnish with whipped cream.
