Food
Fast, Fun & Tasty
Thursday, October 27, 2011
Whether it is slices of pizza, a steaming hot patty, a cheeseburger or a healthy chicken salad, the convenience of fast food and its addictive taste continues to find favour with many — calories be damned. Thursday Food pulled up a seat beside patrons at several fast-food eateries to get the deets on their fast-food restaurant of choice.
Oh what fun

had when their
class stopped in
for a lunch date
at KFC’s New
Kingston branch.
Gal pals Pascale
Webster (left) and
Joanie-Ann
Campbell were
spotted at KFC,
with both in
agreement that
the meal is always
hot and great
tasting. Campbell
ordered the meal
deal combo, while
Webster opted for
a Zinger combo.
Rachel Webster (left) ordered a Zinger combo
while Janice Nembhard opted for a Big Deal for
lunch at KFC. Their verdict: “The tasty meals and
quick service keep us coming back.”
“The sandwiches here are healthy and the
restaurant is always clean,” was Nordia
Ashbourne’s reason for dining at Wendy's Half Way
Tree branch. We caught Ashbourne in-between
mouthfuls of a double cheeseburger combo.
Junior Douglas
(above)
considers
himself a healthy
eater, so he
ordered a
vegetable pizza
at Domino's. “I
like all the
vegetables on it
— olives,
mushrooms and
sweet peppers,”
Douglas shared.
Nastassia
Williams is a
huge fan of
Burger King's
whopper with
cheese. “The
service here is
great and I
always order
the number one
combo,” she
stated with
enthusiasm.
Student Venisha Rose
popped into Burger
King and ordered a
whopper combo
along with a
Hersheys Pie for
dessert. “The food is
filling, and it’s
quick service so I'm
in and out in a
few minutes,”
explained Rose.

a Chicken Sandwich combo; Ho Sue decided on a Chicken Caesar
Salad; Groves had a Whopper with cheese combo and Watson
indulged in Whopper Jr combo.
