KFC Introduces the Zing

FOODIE NEWS

Thursday, May 03, 2012

The Zing is the latest delicious addition to the KFC sandwich line. Based on the famous, popular Zinger sandwich, that has been a core menu item for over 11 years, the Zing has the same big Zinger flavour, with a new great price. At only $370, customers get the Zing combo, which includes fries and a drink. The Zing is available in both Hot and Spicy and Spicy BBQ and is served with a juicy tomato slice on top of crispy lettuce, mayo and an option of cheese, all in a warm toasted bun together with regular fries and a 457 ml drink.

"The Zing was introduced to meet the needs of our customers who have been asking for more sandwich options in the great Hot'n'Spicy Zinger flavour they love!" said Tina Myers-Matalon, marketing director of Restaurants of Jamaica. "The Zinger has been our leading sandwich for decades and in such great demand that we decided to introduce the junior version to make this incredible sandwich available to more consumers," Myers-Matalon continued.

The Zing is an exciting and tasty new addition to the KFC menu that is sure to appeal to, not just the young KFC customers, but, across all age groups. "It is so good!", Myers-Matalon said. Available only for a limited time, be sure to try the New KFC Zing today -- which is the first of many new KFC sandwiches to come in 2012!
