NOBU AT STRAWBERRY HILL

An incredible culinary experience not to be missed!

Thursday, February 04, 2010

We're still pinching ourselves at the recent confirmation that the Nobu experience will be unveiled next month. Thursday Food can now officially confirm that Chef Thomas Buckley, Executive Chef of the famed Nobu Restaurants, along with his team will fly to Jamaica next month to craft an authentic recreation from the restaurant's popular menu. Save the following dates (since we're certain you'll want more than one experience)- Monday, March 29, Tuesday March 30 and Wednesday March 31, at Strawberry Hill, Irish Town.

Gourmet enthusiasts will be treated to Nobu's Omakase (nine-course chef-tasting menu) to include Nobu's signature dishes with a few surprises. There will be too, Nobu's signature cocktail lychee martini as well as a surprise Nobu special created for the evening with Appleton Rum.

Chef Buckley will also be available for a book signing of his popular cookbook co-written with the owner of Nobu restaurants, Celebrity Chef, Nobu Matsuhisa. The Party Cookbook. Books will be presigned by Nobu.

Reservations have already commenced at Strawberry Hill.

For more information call - 944-8400.

Join Thursday Food next week as we take a closer look at the visiting Nobu chefs.
