Salut! CPJ
Thursday, November 22, 2012
Our week-long celebration of wines and champagnes came to a close at Bin 26 Wine Bar on November 10 with Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) Limited pouring from six of its premium bottles. More than 70 wine enthusiasts were milling about the Devon House wine bar by 8:00 pm, all quite eager to sip CPJ’s Mionetto Prosecco, Two Islands Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, MerSoleil Silver Chardonnay, Whispering Angel Rosé, Wente Pinot Noir and Piper Heidsieck Champagne.
Each bottle was paired with specially created hors d’oeuvres by Salut! caterer Celeste Gordon, beginning with a roasted red pepper spread with caramelised thyme sugar and culminating with a luxuriant chocolate spring roll with raspberry sauce.
