Salut! CPJ

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Caribbean Producers of Jamaica (CPJ) brought the Jamaica Observer's week-long Salut! Celebration of Wine and Champagne at Bin 26 to a formidable close Saturday last, pouring bottles of red and white wines from its Santa Cristina line and truly putting invited guests in celebratory mode as they popped open their premium French Champagne Taittinger.

Wines were paired with tasty bites by Lisa Hugh Sam. The evening's menu featured beef fillet dusted with jerk seasoning served with plantain chips and paired with the Santa Cristina Rosso; vegetable-stuffed zucchini and mushroom topped with Parmesan cheese were paired with the Santa Cristina Pinot Grigio; while Brie and Gouda cubes with dried apricots — were enjoyed with the Taittinger.
