Savouring Salut!
Thursday, November 03, 2011
Delectable stuffed mushrooms with garlic crab, superb chicken potato leek soup, honey-glazed baked ham with cherries and pineapples, and a luscious cheesecake with a cherry-berry-beetroot-kiwi topping, were just the beginning of the impressive five-course brunch catered by Michele Williams of Moveable Feast. This kick-started the 'Order In' week — October 30 to November 5 — of the Jamaica Observer's Salut! which was hosted by Derrick and Lori-Ann Thompson last Sunday, at their Golden Triangle home.
"Daniel had his confirmation ceremony earlier today at the St Jude's Anglican Church, and so it was the perfect opportunity to invite the family and close friends over for an intimate gathering," Lori-Ann shared with Thursday Food, in-between bites, pleasant convos and fabulous company. We're sharing highlights from the awesome Salut! experience.
