The year 2004 has been among the best in Capleton's hit-laden career. So far, he has scored two number one hits, In Har Heart and Turn It Up (Fire Time). Now he is bracing himself for another chart topper, as Consuming, which was produced by Donovan Bennett, is making strides on the charts. It is on the Top 10 on most local charts, number 17 on the South Florida Reggae chart, number 22 on the New York Reggae chart, and number five on the Choice FM Top 20 Reggae chart in London. Another single, Galang Bad on the Scoobay rhythm, is also making forward movements on the various charts.

Capleton's upcoming album Reign of Fire, the follow-up to the Grammy nominated Still Blazin, is due for release in a few months.
