'Exotic' car show for Sunday in KingstonBY RORY DALEY Observer writer firstname.lastname@example.org
CONRIE Jackson of the St Catherine-based car club, BMW Innovations, hopes to transition his series of automotive lifestyle events with Sunday's Exotic Cars 'N Fashion.
The show is scheduled for the Gee Wee Restaurant (across from Up Park Camp) starting at 3 pm.
"This is our third show," Jackson told Auto. "The first two were held in Portmore. We've expanded our offerings a bit so Kingston it is."
The previous events were Euro-centric focusing on the BMW and Mercedes brand, but for Sunday's show Jackson has called in a few favours from Skunk Nation and 876-Civic to add an Asian flavour.
"The car show starts at 3 pm and runs until 7 pm, during which the crowd will have the opportunity to browse the approximately 55 cars on display," he said.
Jackson was keen to point out that this will not be just another copy of Skunk Nation's recently successful Hot Import Nights show.
"Exotic Cars 'N Fashion is just that. At 7:30 pm, we will have a fashion show with some very hot girls from LaCartin Model Agency. The party starts after that. We also have a more comprehensive entertainment package, not just the cars and the fashion show. There is stuff for the kids to do as well."
