TELECOMMUNICATIONS company Digicel on Friday launched its Olympics-themed summer promotion featuring two of Jamaica's greatest track stars in Usain Bolt and Shelley-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

The promotion consists an intensive advertising campaign, titled 'Run with Bolt' and features more than 500 Digicel and Bolt fans starring alongside the world's fastest man. The advertisement began airing on Friday.

Brand ambassador Fraser Pryce, who is also featured in the campaign, had this to say: "I'm very happy to be here in London representing my country, especially at a time when we're celebrating 50 years as an independent nation. And even though we are here to compete as athletes, this campaign makes me feel assured that Digicel and the entire country are running behind us and supporting us on this journey".

The other part of the summer campaign gives customers across Jamaica multiple opportunities to share over J$15 million in cash and prizes by either topping up their pre-paid phones with $200 or more and talking for at least 20 minutes or pay their 4G bills on time and in full in the case of post-paid customers.

The campaign also features a text-and-win competition as well as discounts on Samsung handsets.

"Jamaica's biggest corporate Facebook fan page is not to be left out of the mix. Digicel is engaging its over 360,000 fans with interactive games, trivia, giveaways and other activities so that they too can win big this summer," the company said.
