HEINEKEN Igloo made its debut as a part of the Smirnoff Dream weekend much to the patrons at the Boardwalk Village in Negril last Friday.
Things got started with DJ Absolute representing western Jamaica and he wasted no time in raising the excitement level at the venue. From Nicki Minaj's Starships to Kartel's World Boss, DJ Absolute showed his skill seamlessly switching genres.
The Kingston-based All Stars Sound took the baton nicely as the managed to maintain the vibe.
Hash Oil, a selector from Ocho Rios, got a thumbs up when he hit the controls, as he came to put his stamp on the event.
Coppershot closed the evening by mixing things up a bit close to 9 pm. They had to do a series of 'pull-ups' to satisfy the patrons.
At 10 pm, the action switch to The Rainforest for Twisted Spirits.
Crazy Neil got the ball rolling at about 10pm. The venue was buzzing as the crowd grew from thousands.
By the time Mix Master David took over, the crowd was at capacity. He did exactly what the people wanted unleashing Buju Banton's 'Our Father' and Jah Cure's 'Call on me' then going straight into some retro mega hits Half Pint's 'Greetings', Terror Fabulous' 'Gangster' and Supercat's 'Under pressure'.
The people were raring to get some more as Nicco graced the staged.
Patrons were dancing throughout his set. He brought the curtains down.
