Supt Maurice Robinson to temporarily head St Andrew North division
Tuesday, July 17, 2012THE Police High Command is announcing the temporary appointment of Superintendent Maurice Robinson as division commander for the St Andrew North Police Division with immediate effect.
Robinson’s tenure as divisional commander will last until present commander Superintendent Everald Linton returns from vacation leave.
Robinson presently serves the St Catherine North Division as the head of operations, having previously commanded the divisions of St James, Westmoreland and St Elizabeth.
Commenting on the temporary appointment of Robinson, Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington says he is confident that Robinson will lead the team well and will have successes.
“Supt Robinson has demonstrated strong and decisive leadership allied with undoubted professionalism in some of our more testing divisions. Given his record of achievements, I am sure he will ably lead the team in St Andrew North and achieve the desired results,” Ellington said.
