Taylor's cricketers stay perfect in women's league
S MyersSTAFANIE Taylor's DW People's Choice of Westmoreland kept up their perfect run in the Hotel Four Seasons Women's Twenty20 cricket tournament with a six-wicket win over Zone B rivals St Elizabeth on Saturday.
Taylor, the outstanding West Indies all-rounder, claimed 2-20 to restrict St Elizabeth to 120-8 off 20 overs. Chadean Nation made 30 for St Elizabeth.
In reply, DW People's cruised to 123-4 inside 18 overs as Sherene Burnett led with 17 not out and Taylor added 15.

DW People's moved to 12 points with the victory, but St Elizabeth (six points) stayed second in the Zone after rebounding to hammer winless Westmoreland by 144 runs yesterday.
Rosheda Banton top-scored with 30 in St Elizabeth's 172, while Nation took 3-12 to help dismiss Westmoreland for 28.

Meanwhile, in a Zone A match played on Saturday, St Ann (six points) defeated neighbours St Mary (0 points) by four wickets despite 59 from Carla Cohen.
Scores: St Mary 106 (18.5 overs); St Ann 107-6 (17.2 overs).
The struggling St Mary team completed a miserable weekend after slumping to a nine wicket loss to leaders New Berry (nine points) yesterday.
Jodian Brown took 4-9 and West Indies spinner Shanel Daley supported with 1-6 to help dismiss St Mary for 59.
Natasha McLean made an unbeaten 26 as New Berry sped to 61-1.
