Novlene Williams-Mills is through to the Olympic Games after claiming the women's 400m title at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Championships at the National Stadium.
Williams-Mills finished in 50.60 seconds ahead of Rosemarie-Whyte in 50.78 and a fast finishing Christine Day in 51.00. Olympic silver medallist Shericka Williams was out of the top three after finishing fourth in 51.39 seconds.
Earlier, Kateema Riettie won the women's javelin throw with a distance of 52.51m. Second place went to Olivia McKoy, 50.51m, with Fayon Gonzales 33.17m in third.
Dorian Scott retained the men’s shot put title with a throw of 20.72m while World University Games medallist O'Dayne Richards was second after throwing a distance of 19.92m.
