LIME gives away 13 Samsung Galaxy S III on Facebook huntTuesday, July 17, 2012
TELECOMS provider, LIME, yesterday launched for its online fans a Facebook Timeline Olympic Treasure Hunt Competition.
Scheduled to run from 16 July to 23 July, the competition will gift 39 lucky fans with 12 Samsung Galaxy SIIIs, 12 gift certificates for 50 per cent off any Samsung product, 12 gift certificates for 20 per cent off any Samsung product and a Samsung Galaxy Tab II.
Rooted in the concept of hunting for hidden clues, the competition excites fans in all of LIME's 13 markets by posting Olympic-themed clues on its Facebook fan page timelines at noon and 5:00 pm respectively for seven days. Each territory will have its own set of clues based on information that exists on its timeline.
The first fan in each territory that correctly solves all clues on the seventh day will win a Samsung Galaxy SIII, the official handset of the 2012 Olympic Games. The second and third place winners will get a gift certificate for 50 per cent off any Samsung product and a gift certificate for 20 per cent off any Samsung product respectively.
A Samsung Galaxy Tab II will be awarded to the first and fastest fan to correctly solve all the clues across the LIME territories.
Kalando Wilmoth, Regional Head of Corporate Communications at LIME said that his company is deeply committed to bringing the best Olympic experience to customers across the region and this competition is just one of the many ways that the company will do this.
Commented Wilmoth: "The Caribbean's history with the Olympics has been long, glorious and rich; something we are obviously proud and passionate about. Our Facebook Treasure Hunt will give new and long-time fans of the games a chance to learn and relive some of these glorious moments in our history. And at the end of the day there are some really awesome prizes to walk away with. This is just another dynamic and social way we are bringing the excitement of the London Games to our customers."
LIME is the official telecoms broadcast sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games in Jamaica, powering the live coverage on CVM-TV and the lifestyle coverage on TVJ and the Jamaica Observer.
