'Colly P' chopped to death in Discovey Bay

DISCOVERY BAY, St Ann – One man is dead and another in police custody following a dispute at a house in Discovery Bay in St Ann this morning.

The dead man has been identified as Clayton Edwards also known as 'Colly P’ 48-year-old furniture maker of Keith district in Discovery Bay.

Edwards was reportedly at a house with a female friend when he was attacked by a man who used a machete to chop him in the head as he exited the yard.

He was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Discovery Bay police are investigating.
