Police seize 300lbs of ganja in Patrick City

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division (TCND) seized 301 pounds of ganja in Patrick City, Kingston 20, on Saturday.
The police report that during an operation in the community conducted by TCND officers, working with the Motorised Patrol Division, the contraband was found in a hut located at the back of a property.
The ganja was stored in 58 rectangular shaped parcels and has an estimated street value of $500,000.
Two men were taken into custody but their names have been withheld pending further investigations.
