‘Tommy’ wanted for absconding bail

DETECTIVES attached to the Kingston Eastern CIB are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 29-year-old Kawain Stephenson, otherwise called ‘Tommy’, who absconded bail yesterday. He was charged for a murder which occurred in January 2008.
Information received is that Stephenson attended the Kingston Circuit Court yesterday, but when the court was ready to empanel jurors, it was discovered that Stephenson had absconded bail.
Persons with information that may lead to the whereabouts of Kawain Stephenson are being asked to contact the Elletson Road CIB at 928-4200 or 938-1112, Crime Stop at 311, Operation Kingfish at 811, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
