KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 15-year-old Jamaican national was shot and killed in Toronto, Canada on the weekend.

Jarvis Montaque, who migrated to Canada with his family less than two years ago, was killed in the city’s west end on Sunday around 10:50pm, according to a report in the CBC News.

Reports are that Montaque was standing with friends on Jamestown Crescent when a man, dressed all in black, approached the group and shot him in the torso.

He’s the fourth minor to be killed in the Greater Toronto area since the start of the year.
